Beomaster 6000 Repair: Recapping the Power Supply

If trouble-free performance for another few decades is sought, it is recommended to replace the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply of the Beomaster 6000. Figs.1 and 2 show the power supply board before and after replacing the two low-voltage reservoir capacitors. Additionally, the ±50V main 10000uF capacitors should be replaced. Photos of this procedure are shown in Figs. 3(before) and 4 (after).
